LARRY E. JOHNSON FOR CONGRESS
We are a nation in the pursuit of forming a "more perfect union." A union where each individual can strive to live a good life; to achieve their highest dreams, to provide for their families, and share in the bounties of this great land. That is a tall vision. Some might argue an impossible vision. We are always in a state of becoming the idea. Let us strive then in every national way to do the impossible.
Crime generally and mass killing crime is not solved by one gimmick.
Here are some rational national ideas I support:
1. Permanent national ban on assault weapons.
2. Mandatory gun free zones for schools and high-volume locales. (shopping malls, stadiums, churches etc.)
3. More Mental Health Officers with detention powers.
What I stand for on behalf of all Americans Generally:
1. Universal Healthcare. I believe Healthcare is a human right.

2. A livable minimum wage for all working-class Americans.

3. Affordable housing

4. Free college tuition for Bachelor and Vocational degrees.

We must return our nation to its 100 year tradition of Neutrality in foreign affairs. Neutrality frees our nation from supporting ethnic cleansing or genocide. It frees us from funding foreign wars that are not for national defense. It frees our budget to be balanced; it frees our resources for our people to greater liberty. Frees us from geopolitical slavery. "The Nation, which indulges towards another an habitual hatred, or an habitual fondness, is in some degree a slave.
